Chelsea has a keen interest in planning law, particularly land compensation and the subdivision and development approvals process.
Chelsea has advised clients on bushfire planning controls, liability for the remediation of contaminated sites and land use conflict controls. She has assisted on multiple proceedings in the State Administrative Tribunal relating to structure planning, land compensation and conditions of development approval.
She has also worked on various environmental law matters relating to the clearing of native vegetation, soil conservation notices and vegetation conservation notices.
Chelsea is passionate about resource recovery and the circular economy. She is currently on the Construction & Demolition working group for the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia.
